About This Machine

An international company required a solution to apply a heat shrink film to a fiberglass based tube for welding nozzles. The design was to spiral wrap the lengh of the tube, the film being applied with a high amount of tension and with no over lapping or gaps. The original machine was used to roll the fiberglass onto a steel mandrel, which was then transferred to our system, this being mounted on the existing unit providing the operator with a single station process.
